would look great framed. "Destiny" was painted before the name change in 1992 to "Little Bighorn National Monument.
Don Griffiths was a proficient in oils as well as watercolors and enjoyed painting any and all subjects. His work has appeared on covers and in publications such as 'Field and Stream' 'Outdoor Life' 'Ducks Unlimited' 'Gun Digest' 'Western States Angus News' and 'Southwest Art'
Don Griffiths has received many awards, before his untimely passing he was the Artist of the Year Custer Battlefield and Historical Association (CBMHA)

We received a call from Terry Griffiths this morning, saying that Don died yesterday afternoon of a heart attack, which was a complication of the leukemia he had been valiantly fighting since last winter. Doctors gave him four months, but Don fought for every moment of life and got an extra two months. I'm grateful for that because it allowed us the opportunity to see Don and Terry over the July 4th weekend.
Don is probably best known by LBH people for "Destiny," but he painted many other topics equally beautifully. He was also one of the nicest, funniest people you could have known. God Bless Don
